Internal sensor beeps when touched but doesn’t lock the system
- If a normally locked system, check the external keyswitch is in the locked position and the break glass isn’t pressed.
- Link out the door switch terminals on the control board.
- If this works, check mag lock reed switch/monitoring wiring and armature plate alignment.
- Mag lock must give a normally closed signal when the door is shut.

- With the door switch terminals still linked, momentarily short the C & N.O terminals for the internal lock sensor. If the LEDs change state every time you momentarily short the terminals, the problem is the wiring between the internal lock/open sensor and the WCPCB (break on a wire or incorrect wiring).

Touch sensor doesn’t beep when touched

- Screw the sensor to the wall properly, don’t have it dangling or in your hand.
- Ensure the jumper next to the touch sensor relay is on and is making properly.
- Use a multimeter to check you’ve got voltage at the touch sensor. (Measure across +V red and 0V black). Note: Just because the LEDs are lit doesn’t mean there’s power to the touch sensor side of the board, they’re powered independently.
- Make sure 0V is in the correct terminal, not the REM terminal.
- Take off the wall and connect power only directly to the power supply on a short piece of cable to rule out any cable issues.
The system locks with no one inside
- Ensure the mag lock contacts are wired into the door switch terminals on control board.
- Adjust the potentiometer on the internal touch sensor so that it switches for 3 - 5 seconds.
- Turn down the sensitivity on the internal touch sensor, especially if there is emergency lighting or hand dryers nearby.
- Make sure there isn’t excess cable in the touch sensor back box.
- Re-terminate internal touch sensor connections.
- Consider fitting the MULTI-TIMER reset relay.
Automatic door doesn’t open when it should
- Take the two wires to your automatic door operator out of the C and NO door activation terminals on the control board and join them together. If the door still doesn’t open, then the problem lies with the operator. Please contact the supplier/manufacturer.
System goes RED but mag lock does not engage
- Check the position of the override keyswitch in the external sensor.
- Check the break glass hasn’t been pressed.
- Check the lock fuse.
- Link out the NC & KS/BG terminals on the control board. If it works with the link in, and your keyswitch and breakglass are in the correct position, then you have a break in the cable somewhere.

The touch sensor LEDs aren’t lit
- Check the solid/flashing LED jumper on the control board hasn’t come off.
- If you have square sensors, the LED wires connect to the larger outer PCB, see page 10 of the manual.

Touch sensor LEDs are flashing but I want them lit solid

Door re-locks instantly after unlocking
- Adjust the potentiometer on the internal touch sensor so that it switches for 3 5 seconds.
- This can be caused by the mag lock contact going open and closed circuit while the internal touch sensor is still beeping.
- Check the armature alignment and that the door is not juddering when opening. · If necessary, replace the mag lock or fit a standard magnetic door contact instead.
Is it possible to have more than one internal or external touch sensor?
- Yes, you can have multiple Door Assist or Touch to Lock/Open sensors, just wire them in parallel.
